Governance
Omnicom is committed to continually strengthening the structure and policies that govern our business. Through clear standards and a commitment to transparency, we maintain alignment with our stakeholders and ensure high levels of trust.
Maintaining Strong Standards
Omnicom sets clear strategies, standards and goals for all employees and partners across the network.
Our Board of Directors is among the most diverse of any U.S.-based corporation. This has been achieved, in large part, by prioritizing board refreshment to ensure a balance of perspectives, institutional knowledge and strong oversight.
In January 2021, we published our Supplier Code of Conduct. All individuals and organizations in the Omnicom supply chain must follow our values by operating ethically and complying with the Code, which covers 15 fundamental principles of how we do business.
Omnicom introduced robust anti-bribery and anti-corruption training for all employees. The training equips employees with the necessary understanding of proper conduct with foreign officials, gifts, entertainment, hospitality, use of third-party advisers and accurate record keeping.
Policies
Our commitment to the highest ethical standards in the communities where we do business is outlined in our Human Rights Policy and Code of Business Conduct. Our Environmental Policy outlines our approach to minimize Omnicom’s environmental impact, and we’re a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative.
